#25: Shannon Hartmann

Her "Price" app. was originally scheduled to air on 6/23 instead of 5/20. One reason why her ep. got moved up was that it was the last day of May Sweeps & anything big airing on that day would be nice. On this occasion, she did strike it big- first winning a maZDa3 Sport on Cover up (getting the hard fourth digit of 1 in two tries), then winning the $26K on TBW & claiming the top SC valued at $34K+ for a GT of $82,195.

#24: William Watkins

Exactly a yr. ago, SC winner Luke Sikorski hit 3 Strikes for a $54K+ Lexus convertible despite a rocky start, a new record win for that PG. Lightning struck twice on 12/22 w/ this man, taking out a $56K+ Mercedes-Benz SLK to re-break that 3X record (in his case, he had one number lit up after getting his 2nd strike). He also was only $370 away on his $29K+ SC (which included the same Dart that was given away today) on a Christmas Wk. where most players were so close to a DSW, making him this season's highest male winner to date w/ $87,043.

#23: Mei Lin

Last yr.'s "Top Chef" started out her season by winning that cycle's 1st EC, but then would lose the next four ECs to Gregory (& only won one QC). She was on the bottom just twice (12/10 & 1/28). Gregory wound up being her opponent in the Final Challenge, whom she beat to win S13.

#22: The Hennesseys

The first two Kids specials that "Price" did were nothing much to write home about. Up until they won their way out of CR on 1/19, it was more of the same. They blew their first item pairing on PASS the BUCK & were right on the 2nd, then managed to pluck off $5K & a FIAT off the prize board, the first time that happened in the PG in over five yrs. But that wasn't all-  w/ a $23.5K bid on a three-trip SC, the ARP of it was $23,697, making them not only the 1st DSWs of '15, but the first GRAND CHAMPS on the show since Celestine Lewis in '11. They left w/ $74,549 in cash & goodies as a result.

#21: Lauren Lumpkin

She had a shirt that Bob Barker has been in her heart on '80s Day during Decades Wk. to kick off S44. This lady put on a show that would've made any "Price" host proud. She first went against the audience during One Away on changing the 4th digit (they wanted her to swap the 2nd to a 2) to win a $20.5K+ Chevrolet Cruze Limited. Then, she was (fittingly) $33 off on her top SC incl. a Toyota Camry making a bid of $25,377 to become to date the sole DSW of the current season & also the other GRAND CHAMP of '15 w/ TW of $70,926.

SALUTE OF CHAMPIONS '15: #20-#16

#20: Toma Dobrosavljevic

En route to winning "The Biggest Loser: Glory Days", he didn't experience any real problems- he didn't get a single elimination vote & was at least "The Biggest Loser" on the ranch seven times, including five in a row prior to the semi-finals. However, he won the quarter million dollars by one pound over Sonya Jones.

#19: Claudia Sandoval

She won the most recent "MasterChef" U.S. title despite participating in an unprecedented five Pressure Tests (6/17, 7/1, 8/12, 9/9 & the semi-finals). Before defeating Derrick Peltz in the final, she took out Stephen Lee in the final PT, who had won a season-high nine challenges. Claudia won five challenges in S6, tying the fewest by a "MasterChef" w/ Whitney Miller from the 1st season.

#18: Sheri Blank

This ES English teacher proved her worth as a GS aficionado by playing "WHEEL" 10/21. She was beaten out by her opponents on the 1st two Toss-Ups, but then got very, very lucky from there (on the two occasions where she spun a Bankrupt, she didn't have anything to lose besides her turn). During the maingame, she capitalized on a TD opportunity an insane five times (including a $6K FS) & finished w/ the 2nd-highest maingame haul ever at $77,100 in cash & prizes. She topped off the night w/ a $33K BR win on MAXIMUM AMOUNT thanks largely to four M's making the board.

#17: Rick Galten

The prev. "WHEEL Around the World" wk. didn't go very well, but he made sure this one wouldn't suck right away. Unlike Sheri, he solved the 1st two T-Us, then Spingled on the MR puzzle. But he made up for that w/ a very long & successful Express ride that netted him $17K & a trip to St. Maarten which sealed the match for the man (despite Spingling again in the S-U for the $1.5K minimum). His BR letter selections of YCPU were interesting & they all made the board. The 1st word of UPHOLSTERY was obvious, but the 2nd wasn't so much even w/ the C at the very end. Despite pausing too long in between pronouncing the words in my judgement, he solved the puzzle & hit the $100K spot to set a new one-ep. record for male players w/ $130,565.

#16: Quest Crew

After a long layoff, "ABDC" returned & these champs from S3 were on the bottom back-to-back times in Wks. #3 & #4. However, they overcame those trips to beat the new Kinjaz & win their 2nd championship.
