"TPiR": It was a tale of two peoples' stories in the Showcase Rd. Meagan Nouis was so close to winning the $500 bonus on the IUFB (#3) prize she got, a $1,520 hp PC, then middled out in TTM (when she should've gone exactly one more price to $28,470, a new record-low margin of $60 over a Honda Crosstour EX) & missed a DSW by $15 & had to settle for a $25,265 Showcase headlined by trips to ORL & New Zealand. As for Emily Sivok, she wiped out in GM due to El Cheapo (a $17,765 maZDa3 SV) & was also way off on the day's top Showcase worth $40,798 topped off by a trip to Beijing & a $25,260 Toyota Prius Two; she left w/ $1K & a $1,648 Kenwood CD receiver.
"LMaD": For the most part, their jinx on 9/24 continued, but there were two notable prize winners- Shahrzad at the top of the show w/ a $4,449 home theater & Vanessa w/ a $6,399 SEA-DOO Spark 900 during RttF (the car in that playing was a $24,960 Civic Coupe EX-L w/ Navi; CR was also not even close to being won for the $16,950 Yaris 5dr). Vanessa then modestly traded down in the BD w/ #1 to a $5,645 Rypen D.R.; the BD behind #2 worth $21,206 was trips to Jamaica & Hong Kong + $3K in spending money. Her MD button choice (Buttons #3-6 were in play today) was #4, but it was my gut of #6. I'll bet you the MD will be #4 tomorrow.
