And now, let's review the season it was:
-After a season that nearly took the whole season w/o it ever landing on either big one, the $1M was won on the very first wk. of the season (& it was lost for the very first time on 4/2) & the $100K was won at the start of "WHEEL Around the World" wk.
-This season began the practice of replacing the $30K envelopes & taking out the $35K envelopes (not such a great move, IMO) to make way for the newer house minimum cash envelopes, starting at $32K; it'll go to $33K next season.
-While the cash bonus for the BR cars was raised back to $5K (& those envelopes no longer show the manufacturer's logo or name), a record-low three cars were given away in the BR this season (again, I wish there were a few more of those envelopes to replace the retired $35K ones).
-There were two monster maingame wins- Chad Ruter ($68,623- partly responsible for $400K+ wk. on the wk. of my 29th birthday) & Matt DeSantos ($91,892 on Boxing Day; one of two maingame sweeps that season).
-While this season's BR win count (74) is down from last season's 78, we just had our first PBRW since '11; also, the number of BR skunkings is the same as S31.
-In the latter part of the season, we saw numerous 1/2 CAR wins; in total this season, there were a record 26.
-There wasn't a T-U TS at all this season.
Thank you so much as always for reading these recaps & we'll see you in about three months' time. Until then, please stay safe & healthy & take great care of your pets/animals. That's a wrap, folks!
